Yesterday is the past,

Tomorrow is the future,

Today is a gift,

That is why they call it the present.

The past is gone but not lost,

It leaves memories behind like a trail of clouds,

It is history but not like his regular stories,

Memories are alive, but like leeches, they suck on your present.

If life is a journey of nothingness to greatness,

The past was meant to be a dark hall,

Which would continue to brighten with time,

If your past is a brighter shade then you are heading to the moors.

The dark past is not blindness but a rich crude,

It is the present that you have today,

You have the duty to unpack and refine it,

We would always have to go from the known past to the unknown future.

Don’t try to forget or bury the past,

Plant it, usurp the energy of your yesteryears and learn the lessons,

If the past which captures the experiences is the greatest teacher,

Separate the colours in the dark shades of the past,
